The primary objective of the project is to develop and evaluate estimation methods for remote Photoplethysmography (rPPG) with potential applications in healthcare and stress monitoring. I am presently evaluating state-of-the-art methods in challenging scenarios using a novel dataset we’ve collected. The subsequent phases involve enhancing methods to ensure robustness to factors like illumination and skin tone. Furthermore, there’s a plan to explore the utility of rPPG in the specific context of stress monitoring.
