This PhD project is focused on Knowledge Graph Mimicking. The end goal is to design and implement a novel framework for the automatic generation of domain-independent synthetic knowledge graphs. These graphs are intended to closely mimic the structure and diversity of real-world knowledge graphs. By replicating the characteristics of actual knowledge graphs, this project aims to enable other researchers and developers to generate customizable, synthetic graphs for testing and analysis. The main application of this project is the benchmarking of knowledge-graph-based algorithms. The synthetic knowledge graphs generated will serve as test beds for evaluating the scalability of these algorithms. We expect our project to be able to assist other researchers assess scalability and performance issues when their algorithms are applied to larger graphs, contributing to the development of more robust and efficient knowledge graph technologies.
